The Campground
| RV SITES The campground has 108 RV sites. The sites vary from directly on the main channel to on mud lake. Some have grass, some have gravel. All of the sites have 30 amp and 50 amp power, water, a firepit, and a picnic table. We do not have on-site sewer because we are in the flood plain, but for campers who are camping in a longer term we do offer a sewage pump-out service. For RV sites the campground has daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal rates (Island Campground's season runs from May 1st to November 1st). TENTING SITES The Island Campground also has an area for tenting. Tent sites are priced per person, not per site (as the RV sites are). The campground does not take reservations for the tenting area - as if it rains too much the tenting area will flood. The tenting area does not often fill up, so if the weather forecast looks good just come on down. The tenting sites have firepits and picnic tables. The sites are also within walking distance from the bathrooms and showers. For more information please see the rates page - sites without on-site power and water. |
