| Bob, originally from Mankato, MN, and Margi, originally from Cloquet, MN, moved to Red Wing in the mid-80s. In 1988, the Moyers bought the Island Campground from Stan and Betty Whiting. Improvements have abounded since - with two new marinas, expansions, improved power systems, WIFI and much more. The couple recently moved to Hager City, WI and now are only 5 mins away from the Island. After over 20 years of ownership, traditions have been established and the Island Campground and Marina, which is now much more of a familial community than ever before. Bob and Margi still run the day to day operations at the Campground and Marina with the help of their lovely daughter, Nea. |
